We had some fair weather on this trip but the fishing was a little tough on the Palometa flats. Strong Northerlies for a couple of days and then it turned the other direction just as hard. While some species were thin pickings the tarpon played the game and we had some really fun topwater sessions using gurglers. These were tied by good mate Al Simson <a title=\"Kettafly\" href=\"http:\/\/kettafly.com\" target=\"_blank\">Kettafly<\/a> and provided us with many aggressive surface takes and high flying tarpon antics.
